For ten years, she worked as Head Hunter and consultant in Corporate Organization at Bonfiglioli Consulting in Bologna. She has collaborated with several Faculties of the University of Bologna, with the Emilia-Romagna Region and Confcommercio Emilia-Romagna, planning training activities. She designed and directed Masters, Post-Graduate and Post-Diploma Courses, to encourage and facilitate the transition between University/School and the world of Work. Graduated in Political Science at the University of Bologna, she specialised in Human Resources Management at Harvard University. She is a Business Coach and Emergenetics Assessor.

Previously, Valerie spent 10+ years as executive director in finance, human resources and administration for the European operations of several leading multinationals in biotechnology and electronics.
